The hourlong film follows University of Idaho researchers on an expedition to the Galápagos Islands, where they study land snails to better understand biodiversity, coexistence and the future of life on Earth. Set against a breathtaking and unique island landscape, “Snail Hunters” offers an entertaining and thought-provoking perspective on scientific discovery.
Produced in partnership with the University of Idaho, the documentary features faculty members Christine Parent and Luke Harmon from the Department of Biological Sciences, along with Brant Miller from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences.
